Stream discharge is monitored at nine watersheds throughout the Hubbard Brook Valley. At the bottom of each watershed, the stream flows into a concrete stilling basin and over a V-notch weir (the weir at Watershed 1 is pictured here) where stage height is measured continuously throughout the year.
