Cover photos of two books, Linking Restoration and Ecological Succession and Environmental Disasters, Natural Recovery and Human Responses (right), co-authored by Luquillo LTER researcher Lawrence (Lars) Walker and acknowledging LTER funding.




Walker, a professor in the School of Life Sciences at the University of Nevada and Las Vegas, says the books deal with many synthetic issues of interest to LTER, particularly disturbance and recovery and human interactions with both.
