| Abstract | The objective of this research was to examine the effect of 2,4,5-T on the soil microflora of a mesquite-infested semidesert rangeland one year after herbicide application. Additionally, several environmental factors were examined to determine their relationship with microbial activity. Carbon dioxide evolution was found to be influenced by soil moisture, soil temperature, and air temperature. Dehydrogenase activity was not found to be affected by field environmental parameters. |
